I'd rather live a month for each year for 2400 years jsut to see where humanity goes from here.

Admiral Thrawn, because he's kick arse :P That and he didn't hold the ideals of the Emperor to the same degree, so wouldn't have recrated the Empire as it once was. I'm such a nerd :P

You don't need to earn my respect. You will lose it if you consistanmtly be an idiot / do something really stupid. I'm not talking stupid funny, I'm talking down right idiotic that a monkey would have more sense. Once a friend, pretty much always. Rare is the case I've lost so much respect for someone that I'd refuse to count them as a friend.
5. How far would you go to ensure your friend found and held onto their true love? Why?
Interesting question. Depends on what they asked for in the way of help. I'd be willing to help out a bit with finances, organising stuff, just about anything really. It's an intersting question though, what is considered far? I mean I doubt I'd just give them multitudes of dollars without expecting some reimbursement at a later stage. As to why, I like to be able to help out a friend when they need it. PLus if they get a chance at true love, then someone might as well be happy even if I can't :P

Anything Random
Last week I was going through a pile of old stuffed toys and found a little calico teddy-bear originally intended for arts-and-crafts purposes, so I cut it open, removed the stuffing, and refilled it with the adzuki beans I had bought several months earlier during a brief fit of enthusiasm for sweet bean cakes. Until I started writing this comment it was slouching on the monitor and looking vaguely depressed, but now it's resting comfortably on my head.I'd rather live a month for each year for 2400 years jsut to see where humanity goes from here.
2350+ months alone on our burnt-out husk of a planet won't be fun... :P
